Fellowship Housing
 



The Case Manager is the vital link between Fellowship Housing families and the program.  Their role is to develop a trusting, caring, accountable relationship with the women they are working with and provide ongoing support helping clients reach their goals.  The program is holistic in nature and requires case management in the following areas: budgeting and finances, education and training, employment stability and development, life skills training, parenting and spiritual growth.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct casework service to assigned clients which involves biweekly meetings with clients for the first four months and monthly meetings thereafter.  Case management has a heavy focus on helping clients learn to budget and manage their finances responsibly.  Once a client is stabilized financially, other issues become the primary focus, such as exploring educational, relational and spiritual growth.
  • Maintaining up-to-date administrative paperwork and client files
  • Developing program goals with FHC clients
  • Crisis management and telephone contact and meetings outside of normal business hours when there is an emergency.
  • Coaching, problem solving, life skills training, supportive counseling, advocacy and referral.
  • Participating in the planning and facilitation of FHC monthly community activities and special events.
  • Participating in weekly case staffing meetings and ongoing supervision with the Case Management Supervisor.

Degree in Social Work and work experience are required. Contract Case Manager would be responsible for 4-5 cases and work 12-15 hours a week. Applicant must be available for office hours on Wednesdays from 9:00 am – 1:00pm.
