The Cars Ministry of Willow Creek Community Church also continued its Golf Outing Tradition of donating a car to a Fellowship Housing mom in need. As we all know, owning a car in the suburbs is not only necessary…it’s costly. For many moms applying to Fellowship Housing securing safe, reliable transportation (a requirement in order to be accepted) is a challenge. The ongoing partnership between Fellowship Housing and the CARS Ministry of Willow Creek Community Church has made it possible for over 25 moms to get into a safe, affordable vehicle. Every year at the Fellowship Housing Golf Outing, the CARS ministry gives a car to one of our moms!
the best environment for her and her daughter. She desperately wants a better future for her daughter and to be in a healthier environment. She has no debt, but is unable to get a vehicle due to having no credit history and not enough money to purchase one on her own. This vehicle will enable her to have the stable transportation needed to get her to and from work and her daughter’s school. We are so thankful to the CARS Ministry for providing not only the vehicle, but also a sense of security for Morgan.
If you were at the Golf Outing, you got an advanced look at Tracy’s Story; one of many videos being created to artfully share the work that you do through Fellowship Housing and its life-changing impact for moms and their families. Watch the preview here and keep an eye out for the full video being released later this year.
