Fellowship Housing's 2018 Christmas party was a fun and special night. We were blessed to have several volunteers that helped make the event a success. Food for Friends provided dinner to 35 adults and 50 children. We also had a group from Hoffman Estates High School bake 200 cookies for the kids to decorate. Craft a Community, a local craft group provided ornaments for the kids and moms to personalize and paint. We received a special visit from Santa and one of his elves. Each child and mom received a handmade, personalized stocking made by Loving Covers, a local sewing group. It was such a blessing to see each child's face light up when they got to meet Santa and receive their stocking. Small groups and families selected Fellowship moms and kids to sponsor for the Christmas Wish gift program. Through sharing your generosity and spirit of sesrving with the Disney Points of Light program, we were able to receive 10 park hopper tickets for Walt Disney World to be auctioned at the upcoming February Black & White Gala. Luckily we were able to capture these precious moments with Eric Niequist's help from New Branch Films. The support of all of our wonderful volunteers for the Christmas party made it an incredibly special event!
