Housing Partners

As a property manager, developer or investor, you understand the value that housing brings to a community as well as the stability and sense of belonging that housing provides to families. Join Fellowship Housing in giving our communities the support they need.

The women we work with go through a rigorous program to get their finances on track (they meet with a family advocate regularly and are accountable for every penny they spend). When they enter our program, their credit and financial situation is not good. But after 2 years in our program, 88% go on to housing of their choice (renting on their own, or purchasing a home). It's truly transformational. Here is a video that explains a little more about what we do.

There are two ways to become a Housing Partner:

  1. Own an individual townhome/apartment property: If you own a property or would like to purchase one, consider using it to house a Fellowship Housing family. Leasing your unit to Fellowship Housing lowers your risk (see below) and you have the added benefit of knowing you are helping a mom build a better legacy for her kids with your property.

  2. Owning/Managing an apartment complex: If you work with a block of rental units, gain consistency and provide a sense of community for Fellowship Housing moms. We rent between 3-6 units at complexes with a plan to be in the community for years. Moms that have had a positive property experience sometimes stay within the complex even after finishing their time with Fellowship Housing because of the relationships they have built.

Why should you consider becoming a Housing Partner?

#1 Reason..Lower your risks while providing a safe place for an at-risk family!

Fellowship Housing takes on all the leasing risk while ensuring single moms and their children have access to a safe home. What this means for you as the owner or property manager is:

  • Fellowship Housing is the lease signer and families living in our apartments are occupants.

  • Fellowship Housing pays the monthly rent and security deposit directly to you, regardless of a mom’s ability to pay.

  • Fellowship Housing is responsible should an apartment get damaged or need repair beyond normal wear and tear.

  • Properties are able to have consistent leases signed with little turnover. The majority of apartments we have been in for at least 5 years.

  • Properties do not have to deal with the eviction process should something go wrong. Fellowship Housing will manage that process with our moms as we have consistent meetings with them and communicate changes required and a clear timeline if a mom begins to have issues.

We believe single moms are some of the hardest working people on the planet. It is our joy and honor to come alongside them in times of crisis so they can regain stability, break cycles of poverty, and build a new legacy for their families. We invite you to join us!
