Habitat for Humanity is making a difference in the lives of single moms.

Two Fellowship Housing 2019 graduates celebrated and received their new homes through DuPage Habitat for Humanity! They worked so hard over the past couple of years to provide the required sweat equity. Seeing their hard work and dedication pay off was such a joy. We are excited for this next chapter and to see their families build into the community they will be living in.

But the celebration doesn't stop there! The Fellowship Housing staff spent a rewarding day contributing sweat equity hours to help build a home for a single mom with DuPage Habitat for Humanity.

"My first time volunteering for Habitat was amazing! It was a lot of hands-on work, and it was honestly so fun to step in and do things I had never done before, like use a table saw and chopper. I left having a ton of respect for the volunteers who are there every week. And, of course, being a part of building someone's much-needed home is rewarding by itself."

- Genesis, Fellowship Housing Program Coordinator.
