We are a Christ-centered group dedicated to empowering homeless and at-risk single mothers to build a new legacy.
Dave has lived in Barrington and worked at CIBC US, formerly The PrivateBank, for over 20 years in various roles. Recently, Dave took the lead on a project to develop cross-border banking for CIBC, so Canadians could open a new checking account in the US online and instantaneously.
Married to his wife Cindy for over 25 years, they spend much of their time with their four children at their activities; namely high school soccer club with their youngest who is the only one left at home full-time. Dave loves spending as much time as possible with his new grandson and at holiday gatherings he’d rather sit at the kids table. It’s no secret that Dave loves families and is passionate about advocating for the ones in need.
Dave previously volunteered with Awana Club, served on the Board of Directors of A Safe Place in Lake County and his family raised puppies for Leader Dogs for the blind, out of Rochester, Michigan.
Chad has a diverse background including private club management, athletic training, and ministry. Currently the General Manager at the Winter Club of Lake Forest, he oversaw the construction and development of a golf course that opened ranked as one of the top ten courses in the country.
Why choose to be on the board at Fellowship? Chad says, “As a devoted follower of Christ, I know that I am a broken and flawed person. If it were not for God’s grace my brokenness would define me. I appreciate that Fellowship Housing is a place where families see God’s grace on display as they learn too that they are not defined by their circumstances.”
Outside of work and Fellowship Housing, Chad is a husband to his amazing wife Charlsie, and a father to a fantastic daughter, Quinn. He loves live music and small social gatherings.
Chad’s passion for serving people and helping organizations thrive in addition to his business experience are an asset to the Fellowship Housing board.

Luis has been an airline captain for United Parcel Service for over 10 years, allowing him to move goods for people all around the world.
Luis’ faith in Christ, strong knowledge of financial literacy and belief in the power of financial independence spurred his friends at Fellowship’s to invite Luis onto the board.
Luis’ time away from work is spent with his incredible wife Helen and their wonderful children, Anna, Luis and Gabby who take up most of his time when they’re home. Luis enjoys spending time with his extended family and close friends, being outside in the sun, and most kinds of exercise. Relaxing with a bourbon and a cigar is one of his favorite treats.
Luis confesses, although many would consider him quite frugal, he was a financial mess before meeting his wife, Helen. She taught Luis one of the most valuable lessons in life (which he now enjoys sharing at Fellowship Housing); happiness can be achieved much more easily when you live within your means.
Jeff is a partner in the law firm of Robinson Payne LLC, where he focuses his practice on business, estate planning, and non-profit law. Jeff’s favorite part of his practice is helping create non-profit organizations and qualifying them as tax-exempt entities with the IRS; he has helped his clients create dozens of charitable organizations that are providing much-needed services all over the world.
Jeff firmly believes that people are the hands and feet of Jesus, and has served on the boards of numerous charitable organizations. Currently, in addition to Fellowship Housing, Jeff serves on the board of Partners for Our Communities, a backbone organization providing access to services for underserved individuals and families in the Palatine, Rolling Meadows, and Hoffman Estates areas.
Jeff has been married to his wife Angela for over 30 years and they live in Palatine with their 2 sons, Joseph and Andrew. Jeff and his family are actively involved at Willow Creek Community Church, where Jeff serves on the Welcome Center and photography teams.
Jeff was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. Even though he has now lived in the Chicago area longer than he lived in Denver, he has refused to adopt any of the Chicago sports teams and still doesn’t like Chicago winters.
Mike is Partner with Hamilton Partners, a full service real estate development and investment company headquartered in Itasca with responsibilities including management, leasing, development and sales for a portfolio of approximately 2 million clients in San Francisco and the Chicago suburbs.
Mike also developed the HSBC North American Headquarters in Mettawa, IL which is a 576,000 SF office building that received the 2008 Green Development of the Year Award from the National Association of Office and Industrial Parks (NAIOP).
Mike believes that all people are created in God's image and deserve an opportunity to succeed in this life. He also believes that to whom much is given much more is expected. He says, “The families in Fellowship are the working poor who slip through the typical government safety nets and need our help to learn the skills necessary to break through to independence.”
The loving father of four beautiful children and two grandchildren and happily married to my wonderful wife of almost 39 years, Mike still cries at the movie Old Yeller or when publicly speaking about his family and faith. When not working, Mike enjoys golfing, biking, skiing and traveling as well as spending time with family and friends.
