The Tony Navitsky Partner Spotlight: Liz Karsten and Ritesh Shah

The Tony Navitsky Partner Spotlight is a quarterly recognition honoring those who faithfully serve Fellowship Housing mothers and their children. For the third quarter of 2023, we are honoring Liz Karsten and Ritesh Shah.

Liz and Ritesh joined Fellowship Housing as volunteers in February and introduced the JRS Cares program, which includes weekly support for mothers in achieving their employment and career objectives. Liz plays a crucial role in assisting Fellowship Housing moms, offering resume updates, LinkedIn profile creation, job applications, and engaging in discussions about long-term goals.

One of our Family Advocates said, "Her ability to recognize and inspire their strengths, skills, and work experiences is highly valued, and we appreciate Liz's dedication to our moms."

A quote from JRS Group:

“JRS’s motto is ‘People | Passion | Opportunity.’ Every day, our team lives it by helping people pursue their passion by finding them the right opportunity. Throughout our experience working with Fellowship Housing Family Advocates, we saw that the same desire and purpose are the cornerstones of the Fellowship Housing program.

We’ve also been fortunate to get to know the women who benefit from everything that FH does, learn from their experiences, celebrate their victories, and be there to support them when they are going through hardships related to employment. It has been an eye-opening partnership, and we look forward to continuing to serve Fellowship housing moms as they go through this process of making their lives and their children's lives better.”

ABOUT THE TONY NAVITSKY PARTNER SPOTLIGHT

The Navitsky's have been a special part of Fellowship Housing for many years. Mona Navitsky has been a volunteer since 2008 with a true passion for supporting our moms. Mona has also served on Fellowship Housing's Board of Directors for over 9 years.

The Tony Navitsky Partner Spotlight is named in loving memory of Mona's husband, a dear Fellowship Housing supporter. His legacy continues with those who faithfully serve the at-risk mothers and their children who walk through the doors of Fellowship Housing.

The Tony Navitsky Volunteer Recognitions began in 2011 as the Volunteer of the Year Award at the Fellowship Housing Annual Gala. Now a quarterly recognition, this distinction continues to honor those who serve families in need and "look after the orphans and widows in their distress" (James 1:27).
