2nd Annual Fellowship Housing Endurance Team Finishes Strong!

Our 2nd Annual Fellowship Housing Endurance Team showed what’s possible when dedication, perseverance, and heart come together for single-mom-led families. This year’s team was nothing short of remarkable. With 20 incredible members and 12 fundraisers, the team’s impact extended far beyond the race and touched the lives of at-risk single moms and their families.

A generous donor of Fellowship Housing offered a $15,000 matching gift, and thanks to the team and our community of supporters, that match was fully met—bringing the total raised to an astounding $33,670! Adding to the excitement, AntiNormal Trivia stepped up during their scheduled weekend events to match donations, amplifying the support even further.

This year, we celebrated new beginnings for many team members. Genesis and Bridget ran their very first 1/2 marathon race with courage and determination, proving that taking the first step is often the hardest and most rewarding part of the journey. Rajneesh’s story was equally inspiring: after hearing Pam share about Fellowship Housing’s culture at a Schaumburg Business Association event, he knew he wanted to run and fundraise. His commitment and heart behind his choice to run was truly remarkable.

The dedication, grit, and perseverance of this team were evident in every mile they ran and every dollar they helped raise. A special shout-out to Steve Long and his son, Steve, for their leadership and for raising over $11,000. Their guidance and enthusiasm kept the team motivated every step of the way.

We are incredibly grateful to the 172 donors who supported the team. Your generosity is making an immediate impact. Every contribution helps single moms gain stability, confidence, and the tools to thrive.

We can’t wait to see the Fellowship Housing Endurance Team continue to grow, inspire, and make a difference in the years to come. To everyone who ran, donated, and cheered them on: thank you, thank you, thank you!
