Celebrating Fellowship Housing Moms for Mother’s Day!

Mother's Day is a time to honor the incredible women in our lives, and this year a number of people poured their love into the moms of Fellowship Housing in a very special way. From fresh haircuts to sweet treats and thoughtful gifts, this community showed up in the most generous ways — and we are so grateful.

Nash Beauty Salon (@nash.beauty.salon) opened their doors and their hearts, providing the perfect space to make our moms feel seen and celebrated. A huge thank you to Mariaeliza (@mariaeliza.esparza), the stylist who not only set everything up but went above and beyond — even making space for a couple of kid cuts! And thank you to Rylee (@smyleestyle) for making herself available to squeeze in a few more cuts. These women gave their time and talent so freely, and it showed in every smile that walked out the door.

Behind the scenes, keeping everything running smoothly, was an amazing volunteer Kara Dziewior (@your_realtor_kara), who helped welcome the moms and supported the stylists throughout the day. Kara, your servant heart made all the difference.

The De Souza Family (@mervyn.desouza) blessed the salon day with snacks, candy, homemade Lemon Poppy muffins, and photo props that brought so much fun and sweetness to the day. Those muffins were a hit! 🍋

West Ridge Community Church (@westridgeccelgin) went above and beyond by putting together beautiful gift bags for each of our moms. It was such a thoughtful touch that made every mom feel truly special and remembered.

And Debbie Choutka, Mary Kay Consultant extraordinaire, donated a wonderful collection of beauty products that let our moms treat themselves to a little extra self-care. Debbie, your generosity is a beautiful reflection of the love you have for this community.

To every single person who gave their time, their talents, and their resources — thank you. You helped remind our moms that they are valued, seen, and deeply loved. That is the true spirit of Mother's Day.
